What started in 2023 with two passionate organizers—Miguel Alatorre and Brian Cadena—has grown into a bold, community-driven movement for justice and equity in rural America.
Today, UNIDOS Network Inc. is powered by:
We are more than a nonprofit—we are a network of empowered residents transforming lived experience into leadership. We believe that those most impacted by injustice should lead the solutions, and that their time, wisdom, and expertise deserve compensation.
With strong relationships across local, state, and federal agencies, we bring critical resources, advocate for long-overdue policy changes, and build long-term solutions for rural communities—starting with places like Kettleman City.
The UNIDOS Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering under served rural communities across the United States. We foster connections with local, state, and federal agencies to mobilize resources for economic development, housing, community empowerment, educational opportunities, voter engagement, workforce development, and language proficiency.
We would like to thank California Air resource Board and Aclima for being our partners and for funding our community efforts. This includes voter registration, civic engagement training, and teaching residents on how to participate. We will be deploying PM2.5 air monitors in Kettleman City and Stratford. We will train residents in data collection and drone certification. This project will support environmental justice and community-led solutions using this data.
